Your surroundings have a strong impact on your mood. From decor to flowers to candles, setting the right ambiance is key. I’m fairly picky when it comes to scents. I don’t want anything too fruity or sweet. I prefer candles with a mix of warm spice and floral notes.

My absolute favorite for the past few years is the Tradition candle by Papier de Armenie.  I discovered this scent at Le Jardin Francais, a European flower shop in Atlanta. They burn it in-store and the complex yet subtle warmth of the scent overcomes you. I highly recommend.

Below are some of my other favorites.

This was a limited edition fragrance that is no longer offered, but I’m excited to try the scents from the latest Roses Collection.
